Score Predictions for Hornets vs Hawks

Our staff picks who will win tonight's game between Charlotte and Atlanta.

Schuyler Callihan: Hawks 120, Hornets 111

The Hornets have played the Hawks well this year, winning two of the first three matchups. This is certainly another game they can win but if Trae Young plays and is his normal self, I don't see the Hornets slowing him down enough to come out on top. I'll take the Hawks.

Ian Black: Hawks 125, Hornets 115

Seven losses in a row for the Hornets and another playoff team is coming to town. Over the course of the losing streak, the Hornets are allowing opponents to shoot 38.6% from three-point range. Only the San Antonio Spurs have allowed a worse percentage on the season. Atlanta attempts the third-fewest shots from deep in the NBA, so maybe there’s room for Charlotte to break the streak if the defense remains disciplined.

Desmond Johnson: Hawks 118, Hornets 105

Almost a must win for the Hawks who are actually playing well as of late, having won 4 of their past 6 games. But the Hornets are 2-1 vs the Hawks so far this season. Charlotte has the worst record in the East and the worst three-point shooting percentage in the league. That's not going to stop them from launching 35 plus three pointers and missing most of them. At least we will get more Mark Williams. Chalk up a win for the Hawks on the road.
