Spread: Nuggets -8.5
4 Star play on the Nuggets: The Hornets just saw two of their most valuable contributors in Jalen McDaniels and Mason Plumlee traded away at the deadline. Add in the facts that they are on the second night of a back-to-back and Jokic is one of the toughest matchups possible for rookie center Mark Williams, things aren't looking good for Charlotte in this one. Keeping this one close would be reliant on uncharacteristically efficient shooting by LaMelo Ball and company.
Over/Under: 236.5
1 Star play on the under: The last time these two teams met the total was 234, but that was a more competitive Hornets lineup. Denver might carry this game to the over on their own if Charlotte can't keep up, but I'm betting on the brakes to be pumped soon enough for things to stay under.
