3 Star play on the Hornets: Charlotte has gone on a surprising hot streak of late, winning four-straight games. The Hornets although the Hornets are just 6-7 as favorites this season and have dropped both prior matchups against the Pistons, the new-look squad centered around the surging rookie center Mark Williams should have enough gas to extend their winning streak another game. Charlotte has covered the spread in every game they've won as favorites this season.
Over/Under: 236.5
2 Star play on the under: Only two Hornets games have hit the over this month, and Detroit's most recent games have decisively been under as well. With that said, both prior matchups between these teams hit the overs. I'd generally stay away from the game total for this evening. Young teams going head-to-head generally means a wider and less consistent range of outcomes.
