Spread: Hawks -4.5
2 Star play on the Hawks : Yes, the Hornets are on a 7-game losing streak. Yes, the Hornets traded away two strong rotation players last week. Yes, the Hawks are a much better team who is in the thick of the playoff hunt. Stylistically though, Atlanta isn't an awful matchup for Charlotte. The Hawks attempt amongst the fewest three-pointers in the league, which is an area the Hornets have struggled to defend lately. The Hawks should still be able to cover this one, but the losing streak should end sometime soon, so the confidence isn't super high.
Over/Under: 239.5
2 Star play on the under: The line looks about right based on my estimations. This should be an interior-heavy matchup though, so the under looks fine despite the pace of these two teams. I would probably avoid betting on the total of this game.
