Early Photo's of the 2021 Utah Jazz Earned Edition Uniforms have been Leaked

Could these new photo's be what the Utah Jazz new "Earned Edition" uniforms will look like?

Earlier this year, it was announced that the Utah Jazz would be getting a green "Earned Edition" uniform to wear during the 2020-2021 season. Although we haven't seen them yet this year, the anticipation from Jazz fans is palpable.

The 2018-2019 season was the last time the Jazz wore an "Earned Edition" uniform. The jersey was dark green in color with one yellow stripe on each side that reached from the armpit to the end of the players rib-cage.  The 2018-2019 "Earned Edition" uniform also included an enlarged yellow 'J-Note' across the front with each players number hugging the inside boarder of the logo.

The new uniform that has been announced will look similar to the 2018-2019 version with a slight change in color and a few modifications to the striping down the side of the jersey.

The color of green will be similar to the retro 1979-1980 uniforms that were once again rolled-out during the 2009-2010 season. A "Kelly Green" look will give Utah a bright, eye catching color that will mix things up from the traditional white, blue, gold, and black uniforms that Jazz fans are used to seeing on a nightly basis.

From the 'leaked' photo that Camisas da NBA put on twitter, it looks as though the striping down the sides will include yellow, with a slice of green and white. It will be a change from the one secondary stripe look that are on the Jazz regular night-in and night-out jerseys, but the look could also be a trial run for accent details on future uniforms.

Will the "Earned Edition" uniforms be released for the second half of the season? The NBA tells us that they will. Keep your eyes locked on SI.com's Utah Jazz fan Nation site, and we'll keep you posted when the Jazz officially release them in their team store and on their website.
