Jazz-Clippers Injury Report: Kawhi Leonard, James Harden Status

The Los Angeles Clippers will be without some star power against the Utah Jazz on Friday.

The Utah Jazz will quickly turn around to face the Los Angeles Clippers on the road on Friday after busting their 14-game losing streak against the Houston Rockets. However, just like each of their previous matchups across these final few weeks of the regular season, the Jazz will be suffering from a handful of injuries.

Each team revealed their injury reports before Friday, each with some significant names scheduled to be on the sideline.

Los Angeles Clippers:

Kawhi Leonard: OUT (knee)

James Harden: OUT (foot)

Joshua Primo: OUT (ankle)

Utah Jazz:

Lauri Markkanen: OUT (shoulder)

Jordan Clarkson: OUT (back)

Kris Dunn: OUT (foot)

John Collins: OUT (back)

Walker Kessler: OUT (nose)

Collin Sexton: OUT (illness)

For the Jazz, they'll be without a collection of key starters. Lauri Markkanen, John Collins, Walker Kessler, and Collin Sexton will all be out with their respective injuries (and illness, in the case of Sexton). Off the bench, Utah will also be without Jordan Clarkson and Kris Dunn, leaving a bit of a hole in their guard depth.

As for the Clippers, they're set to be without some star power in Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, as they're sitting out ahead of the postseason. Joshua Primo will also be out of the rotation with an ankle injury. We just saw Russell Westbrook post a vintage performance on Tuesday night, with a triple-double worth 16 points, 15 rebounds, and 15 assists, so there's a chance we could be in for similar on Friday.

Tip off between the Clippers and Jazz will take place at 8:30 PM MT in Crypto.com Arena.
