Pacers Update Myles Turner's Status for Jazz Matchup

The Utah Jazz look to get back on the winning track versus the Indiana Pacers.

The Utah Jazz face the Indiana Pacers in the third game of their road trip on Monday night. The Pacers have a pair of key contributors whose status is up in the air.

Myles Turner (back) and Tyrese Haliburton (thigh) are questionable while the Jazz head into the contest with a clean bill of health.

Currently, the Jazz are in the lottery as the No. 11 seed in the West but are still only 2.5 games removed from the No. 6 spot in a congested conference.

Utah has played well since the trade that saw Mike Conley, Malik Beasley, and Jarred Vanderbilt being dealt for draft compensation, with shooting guard Talen Horten-Tucker stepping up in their absence. On Saturday vs. the New York Knicks, 'THT' scored a season-high 23 points while dishing out seven assists. The roster reshuffle is just what the doctor ordered for the third-year pro, as he will now get the live reps needed to develop.

Other players that have seen a spike in minutes are Collin Sexton and Ochai Agbaji. Don’t count the Jazz out for a run at the play-in game quite yet with the injury issues going around the league. Teams such as the Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans were once considered playoff shoe-ins, have been bitten by the injury bug with no clear end in sight.

Las Vegas has the Jazz as a one-point favorite despite a 10-18 road record this year. Tip-off is at 6:00 pm MDT.
