Jazz-Hawks Injury Report Revealed

The Utah Jazz hit the road to face the Atlanta Hawks in a three-game road trip.

The Utah Jazz hit the road on Tuesday night to face their former head coach, Quinn Snyder, and the Atlanta Hawks. Atlanta will be missing its leading scorer heading into the contest.

Trae Young (finger) is out and will be re-evaluated in four weeks. Also, Onyeka Okongwu (toe) is out and will be re-evaluated in two weeks. The Jazz come into the contest with a clean bill of health.

Despite the Hawks playing in the Eastern Conference, this is a big game regarding the standings. The Hawks are a team that Jazz fans should be keeping an eye on regarding whether Utah’s first-round pick this year will be conveyed.

If Utah finishes in the bottom ten this year, they will keep the pick. If they don't, the pick goes to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Currently, the Jazz are in the 11 spot and are only 1.5 games ahead of the Hawks in the won-loss column.

Since trading Kelly Olynyk, Simone Fontecchio, and Ochai Agbaji hasn't been easy for the Jazz, Utah won its first game post-All-Star break on Sunday versus the San Antonio Spurs. The rookies are beginning to show some of the reasons why Utah picked them in the first round.

Taylor Hendricks and Brice Sensabaugh are now permanent pieces to the rotation and will continue to make their case on why that should continue moving forward. How they progress over Utah’s last 24 games should be the No. 1 storyline as we close out the 2023-24 season. The top-off tonight is at 5:30 p.m. MST.
