Jazz-Suns Injury Report: Bradley Beal Status Revealed

The Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns face off on the trade deadline day.

On Thursday evening, the Utah Jazz travel to Arizona to face the Phoenix Suns at Footprint Center. The Suns could be missing a key contributor.

Shooting guard Bradley Beal (ankle) is listed as questionable. As for Utah, Bryce Sensabaugh (hip) is questionable.

When the Jazz and Suns tip off, players and fans will have closure on the trade deadline. On Wednesday, the Jazz got the party started by dealing Simone Fontecchio to the Detroit Pistons for a second-round pick and small forward Kevin Knox. They then followed up that move by dealing Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji to the Toronto Raptors.

With Fontecchio, Olynyk, and Agbaji out of the picture, Taylor Hendricks and Sensabaugh have a shot at rotational minutes the rest of the way. This will also open up starter-type minutes at the small forward position. All eyes will be on head coach Will Hardy tonight to see what adjustments will be made to the rotation.

It could be Walker Kessler moving in at center while John Collins and Lauri Markkanen paired at the forward positions. Another option would be to start Taylor Hendricks at the three and keep Collins at the five. Either way, the Jazz are making a statement that they're focused on the future rather than playing for the playoffs this season.

Are the Jazz done making moves? The deadline ends at 1:00 p.m. MST. Jazz fans should be on pins and needles until then, with the rumors of fan-favorite Jordan Clarkson possibly being shipped elsewhere.

The tip-off tonight is at 7:00 p.m. MST.
