Absurd Stat Reveals 76ers’ Recent Dominance When Playing Against Kings

The Sacramento Kings have not had the best recent success against The Process and the Philadelphia 76ers.

After coming off a commanding 123-98 win vs. the Charlotte Hornets, the Sacramento Kings are looking to extend their success into Friday as they face off against the short-handed Philadelphia 76ers. It’s a great chance for Sacramento to keep building on their long road trip versus a team currently sitting on a three-game skid.

However, the Kings have come up a bit short in recent years when playing this ball club. While the 76ers have remained a premier talent and annual contender in the league for half a decade, the extent to which they’ve taken down Sacramento is impressive.

Since 2019, the Kings have been winless against Philadelphia, posting a 0-9 record against the franchise across the past four seasons.

Friday night may be the best opportunity for Sacramento to break the long-winded streak, given that Philadelphia’s reigning MVP, Joel Embiid, will be out of the lineup. Losing out on that monumental production on both ends of the floor, especially against an All-NBA talent like Domantas Sabonis, will be an added challenge to an already stumbling 76ers team.

The focus for this Kings team will be containing Embiid's soon-to-be All-Star counterpart, Tyrese Maxey. He is coming fresh off a stellar performance in Atlanta on Wednesday, where he put up 35 points, eight rebounds, nine assists, and four steals, albeit in an overtime loss.

The Kings and 76ers will tip off in Wells Fargo Center at 4:30 PM PT, where Sacramento will look to get a long-needed win against this Philly franchise.
