The Sacramento Kings have the opportunity to get back to form at home after an embarrassing collapse on Tuesday vs. the Phoenix Suns, where they suffered from an ugly comeback after holding a 22-point lead midway through the 4th quarter.

This time, Sacramento might be facing off against a former King, that being Tyrese Haliburton with the Indiana Pacers. After being shipped off from the franchise in the Domantas Sabonis trade two seasons ago, the All-Star guard may return against his previous team from a lengthy hamstring injury that’s kept him out of action for almost two weeks.

Both teams released their injury reports ahead of the game, where we see Haliburton elevated to a questionable status:

Sacramento Kings:

NONE

Indiana Pacers:

Tyrese Haliburton- QUESTIONABLE (hamstring)

Pascal Siakam- OUT (trade processing)

Bennedict Mathurin- QUESTIONABLE (ankle)

Aaron Nesmith- QUESTIONABLE (shins)

Obi Toppin- QUESTIONABLE (calf)

The slate remains clean for the Kings, remaining notably healthy through 2024. However, the Pacers have several names who could be out of the lineup on Thursday.

Along with Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, Aaron Nesmith, and Obi Toppin are all questionable ahead of the contest. As for recently-traded Pascal Siakam, his recent deal will keep him out of the lineup until his transaction is completely processed.

If we see a good portion of these key rotational players eventually ruled out, this game should be a simple one to gain some momentum back on after their previous defeat. The Kings have suffered from three straight losses, so this team needs to start coming back together before it’s too late. Making their way back to the Golden One Center could be the perfect way to do so.

The Kings and Pacers will tip off tonight in Sacramento at 7 PM PT.
