The Sacramento Kings have hopes to avoid their fifth-straight loss on Monday night as the Atlanta Hawks travel to the Golden One Center.

It’s been a rough recent stretch for the Kings, losing to the shorthanded Indiana Pacers and falling victim to a 22-point Phoenix Suns comeback across their past two games. Before embarking on their upcoming seven-game road trip, finding some momentum to lean on in this game will be crucial.

Both teams released their injury reports ahead of the matchup, showcasing some entries for each side:

Sacramento Kings

Sasha Vezenkov- QUESTIONABLE (ankle)

Atlanta Hawks:

Trae Young- OUT (concussion)

De’Andre Hunter- OUT (knee)

Wesley Matthews- OUT (calf)

Vit Krejci- OUT (shoulder)

Mouhamed Gueye- OUT (back)

The Kings may ultimately be without Sasha Vezenkov, who’s dealing with an ankle sprain, leaving him questionable. However, the slate remains clean for Sacramento beyond him.

As for the Hawks, Trae Young headlines their inactive list as he’s suffering from a concussion that keeps him out of the lineup indefinitely. De’Andre Hunter, along with some deeper rotational guys, will be sidelined for this one as well. Look for a player like Dejounte Murray to get more involved as Atlanta moves forward without his All-Star backcourt mate.

The Kings and Hawks will tip off Monday in Sacramento at 6 PM PT.
