First Look at Kings' New Court For Inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament

The court honors old elements of the Kings while they hunt to win the new NBA Cup.

The NBA in-season tournament will begin its inaugural tournament on November 3, overlapping itself with the regular season and providing teams an exciting chance at a new trophy. The Sacramento Kings are set to begin their tournament play on November 10, and they will have a new court.

The court is largely grey and features a blue line down the middle with classic logos and the centennial season logo, as the Kings celebrate their 100th season as the NBA's oldest franchise.

Each team will have its own NBA Cup court, and we will see this one on display from the Kings for a maximum of three games. There are four group-stage games - two at home and two on the road. Only eight teams will move on to the knockout stages and as the highest seed in the group, the home-court advantage will likely go to the Kings if they make it there. That would be the last game at home though, as the semifinals and finals will be held in Las Vegas.

The Kings will play at home in the NBA Cup on November 10 against the Oklahoma City Thunder and once again at home on November 28 in another rematch against the Golden State Warriors. For more information about the Kings' schedule and the format of the NBA Cup, click here.
