Sacramento Kings Open the 2023-24 NBA Season Against the Utah Jazz

The Kings will start their 2023-24 campaign with an electric road matchup against a Western Conference foe.

Portions of the 2023-24 NBA schedule have been released as NBA fans get a glimpse of what the season will look like. While there are over two months until the season begins, the excitement continues to build up.

The Sacramento Kings are wrapping up their busy off-season as they have jumped into championship contention. After finishing last season with 48 wins and the highest offensive efficiency by a team in NBA history, Sacramento looks to build on that success heading into next season.

Reports suggest the Kings will open their season on the road against the Utah Jazz.

This October 25th matchup will be an electric one, as two of the most surprising 2022-23 teams face off in Salt Lake City.

The Utah Jazz finished last season with a 37-45 record, falling just short of the play-in tournament. Led by All-Star and 2023 NBA Most Improved Player Lauri Markkanen, the Jazz are in a position to shock the league next season.

One year after trading away their All-Star duo, Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, Utah has a roster full of young talent, headlined by a frontcourt trio of Markkanen, Walker Kessler, and newly-acquired John Collins.

The Sacramento Kings will not have an easy opening night in Utah, but they are certainly up for the challenge.

The Kings started last season losing four straight games, and they have lost six of their last ten opening games. Sacramento will look to start the season strong, and a statement win in Utah would do the trick.

Kings fans can finally start counting down the days until Sacramento basketball is back, as they have many reasons to look forward to this opening night matchup against the Utah Jazz.
