The Sacramento Kings have made depth moves this offseason, adding more options at nearly every position while backing the same core from their history-making 2022-23 team.

It was announced Thursday that the Kings signed two players to Exhibit 10 contracts, sending them to the Kings G League-affiliated Stockton Kings to continue development. G Dane Goodwin and C Jake Stephens will be joining Stockton this upcoming season.

Both players played with Sacramento during the NBA Summer League. Goodwin played at Notre Dame and averaged 11.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2 assists per game last season while shooting over 45% from the field and over 38% from three.

Stephens is a 7-foot big man with a 7-foot-10 wingspan who spent his last year at Chatanooga after transferring from Virginia Military Institute. Stephens averaged 22 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.2 blocks per game while shooting over 55% from the field and nearly 41% from three in his most recent season.

Both players went undrafted in the 2023 NBA draft, but clearly made a good impression on Kings GM Monte McNair during their summer league time. The two will develop in Stockton this year and look to earn a chance on the main roster as time progresses.
