'Not My Boys!': Knicks' Jalen Brunson Shuts Down Questions About DiVincenzo, Hart

New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson had an interesting answer about teammates Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo during a Twitter Q&A.

New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson hosted a Twitter Q&A on Monday night and fans kept asking about his teammates Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo. Brunson's response wasn't exactly one you'd expect.

"Let’s get one thing straight, stop asking me about Josh," Brunson said. "Don’t ask about Donte. I don’t like them. They’re not my boys. They are coworkers. Nothing more. Thank you."

The Tweet has surpassed 11 million hits, his most-viewed post since the app-enabled the viewership stats feature. Hart responded to the message on his Instagram story, showing little, if any, concern about Brunson's supposed slight.

With that being said, Brunson is known to joke around with his collegiate teammates.

The sixth-year guard also told Hart 'delete my number' after he asked a curious question about breast milk to his followers.

Hart apparently convinced the Knicks' front office to pursue DiVincenzo in free agency this offseason allowing them a reunion with their college teammate from Villanova. The trio won a national title in 2016, before Hart went to the NBA a year later. Brunson and DiVincenzo hoisted another national title trophy again in 2018, the latter earning Most Outstanding Player honors for that season's tournament.

Once DiVincenzo signed the deal, Hart dubbed the "Nova Knicks" name and it has stuck with the NBA community. Hart also called out Brooklyn Nets forward Mikal Bridges, another Villanova teammate, to switch boroughs, but there likely won't b much, if any, traction there.

With that being said, the "Nova Knicks" are no doubt hoping to bring their championship mentality and experience to the rest of the team as they try to build on the franchise's most successful season in a decade.
