Lakers Injury News: Anthony Davis Ruled Out for Tonight's Matchup with Grizzlies

The Brow will not play tonight after 52 minutes of action the night before.

The Los Angeles Lakers will be out another superstar tonight in the second leg of a back-to-back. Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks, the Lakers were without superstar LeBron James, and tonight, they will be without their other superstar, Anthony Davis. Davis will miss tonight's game due to a left knee hyperextension.

ESPN's Dave McMenamin reported via X.

The Lakers will look for their fifth win in a row against the lonely Grizzlies. LA is coming off an intense battle with the Bucks, in which they came out on top in double overtime, 128-124. It was the first of a six-game road trip.

Davis did his part and then some for the purple and gold as he contributed 34 points, 23 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and four crucial blocks in 52 minutes to complete the 19-point comeback.

The 31-year-old superstar will be missed tonight; however, this injury shouldn't be worrisome. He's been a machine all season long, and hopefully, that continues for the Lakers' sake. Tip-off is tonight at 5 p.m. PT.
