Lakers Injury Report: LA All-Stars Not Guaranteed To Play Vs Clippers

Uh oh.

Your Los Angeles Lakers could be missing their All-Star frontcourt superstars for tonight's nationally-broadcast ESPN matchup against fellow Crypto.com Arena tenants the LA Clippers.

Per the NBA's latest injury report, LA center Anthony Davis is considered probable to suit up for the contest, despite still dealing with a bilateral Achilles tendinopathy.

After starting the day as probable to play, however, 39-year-old Lakers small forward LeBron James has been downgraded to questionable to play through a left ankle tendinopathy. Small forward Cam Reddish, who's been out since the Lakers' last game against the Clippers almost exactly a month ago, has been upgraded to probable, as he continues to work his way back from his right ankle sprain.

Clippers All-Star forward Paul George, a native of Palmdale who had long been rumored as a potential Lakers prospect, has already been ruled out for the contest with a sore left knee. Ex-Lakers center Ivica Zubac, now the Clippers' starter at the position, has been demoted to questionable with a vaguely defined illness.

The Lakers will also be without freshmen Jalen Hood-Schifino and Maxwell Lewis, who are both on assignmment with the club's NBAGL affiliate club, the South Bay Lakers. Big men Christian Wood (left knee effusion) and Jarred Vanderbilt (right mid-foot sprain) plus point guard Gabe Vincent all remain sidelined.
