Lakers Injury Report: Several Ailing Bulls Sidelined Vs LA

The Bulls will be without at least one starter, among others.

Ahead of your 22-23 Los Angeles Lakers' matchup against the 21-24 Chicago Bulls, several Bulls have found themselves sidelined with an array of different injuries.

Zach LaVine headlines the list, as the multi-time All-Star and Lakers trade target has a right ankle sprain, and hasn't played since their contest against the Raptors last Thursday. He's expected to miss a couple of weeks.

LaVine's absence is an issue on face, as he's one of the best pure scorers in the league. However, whether it's his fit, play style, or defensive impact, Chicago has overall been better without him this season.

For the Lakers, though, not having to game plan for a premier three-level scorer makes things easier

Torrey Craig (plantar fasciitis) is also out, which represents a fairly big blow to a team that appreciates his perimeter defense, and will need it against a wing-dominant LA team.

Without him, Chicago is a bit smaller on the perimeter which should open the door to an easier time for Rui Hachimura and LeBron James to leverage their size.

Lonzo Ball, Adama Sanogo, Onuralp Bitim, and Henri Drell are also out.
