Lakers Injury Report: Darvin Ham Reveals Anthony Davis' Status For Play-In Game

Los Angeles Lakers head coach Darvin Ham expects his superstar center Anthony Davis to be on the court for tonight's play-in tournament.

The Athletic's Jovan Buha reported the news via X.

Davis suffered minor back spasms over the New Orleans Pelicans in the season finale. The Lakers came away with the victory quite soundly, 124-108. Davis did his part and then some in Sunday's game, recording a game-high 30 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 33 minutes of action.

After the game, Davis said there is no doubt he will play in tonight's match. The winner of tonight's game will play the two-seed Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

Davis recorded a career-high 76 games played in his 11th year in the association. The 31-year-old has proven to the doubters and haters that he is an Iron Man, and he'll look to do the same tonight in a pivotal matchup.

Tip-off is set for 4:30 p.m. PT, on TNT.
