After being defeated in six games by your Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs, Golden State Warriors All-Defensive Second Team power forward Draymond Green has weighed in on how he thinks LA will fare against the top-seeded Denver Nuggets in the Conference Finals.

Green laid out a strategic blueprint for the Lakers to deal with the Nuggets' most dangerous asset: two-time league MVP Nikola Jokic, who has been obliterating the opposition through his first two playoff rounds this year.

"It is going to be on the Lakers to... you either [have] got to stop Joker from passing or stop him from scoring," Green said. "The easier one to do is to stop him from getting assists. Can't allow him to get both. If he gets both, you lose. It's very simple. Denver's ready man, I think Denver is ready. Denver's taking that next step. They're doing it. But I think we're going to have a rerun of 2020. I think the Lakers are at the bubble, and I think the Lakers take it. I've got the Lakers in six, closing out at home in six. That is my prediction. That's what I'm rolling with and I'm sticking to it."

Green of course is now good friends with the Lakers' LeBron James, his longtime playoff rival, so one could infer there might be a bit of bias in this prognosis. That said, this is feeling like a close series, given how great the seventh-seeded Los Angeles has looked in the playoffs thus far.
