Ex-Lakers Role Players Share Reunion in Greece with NBA Superstars

The crew is all back together!

The NBA offseason is a great time for a number of reasons. It allows our favorite players to get the chance to unwind after a long year and be able to spend time with family, friends and get away from the game for a couple of weeks to months. Even though they usually get back to summer workouts and pickup games after some time, everybody knows how important it is to unplug when necessary.

And we've seen a number of former members of the Los Angeles Lakers vacationing in Greece with other NBA superstars. Ivica Zubac put in work as a young center for the purple and gold and he eventually got traded to the Los Angeles Clippers where he teamed up with Patrick Beverley and Paul George. Fans know that Beverley also suited up for the Lakers for a short period of time before getting moved at the trade deadline.

The three of those all linked up with Minnesota Timberwolves' superstar Karl-Anthony Towns and took a special picture.

At the end of the day, NBA players are all pretty tight despite them competing day in and day out. All of their feelings are usually left on the court and once the offseason rolls around, they have plenty of time on their hands.

Beverley is also a frequent offseason pickup game player and he does what he can to stay in shape and help younger players improve. He's a journeyman at this point in his career and even though contenders appreciate his hustle and defense, it's been hard for him to find a set home.

Nonetheless, he made sure to make the most of his time off with some former teammates and we appreciate what he and Zubac brought to the Lakers.
