Your Los Angeles Lakers have had a poor week this past week. They lost games that slipped through their hands and are in a tug-and-pull with other teams in the play-in tournament. Nonetheless, they are still in a good stop to secure a playoff berth.

Even though the basketball side of things didn't look good, they got some great news regarding their superstar LeBron James. James was no longer wearing a boot and participated in the Lakers' pre-game warmup before their game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday.

Lakers insider Dave McMenamin provided us with some video and an update on the four-time MVP.

James is on the right track to be back on the court before the regular season ends, and the team desperately needs him back. This is good news for the purple and gold faithful, and they showed their excitement about the video in the comment section.

Sunday will mark three weeks since he suffered his right foot injury against the Dallas Mavericks. The Lakers have gone 5-5 and have yet to crack .500.

The purple and gold are staying above water without the four-time champion but will need to perform much better if they even want to sniff the play-in tournament.

LA has 11 games remaining, and each game is a must-win situation. It was great seeing James on the court again, and hopefully, they can get him back as soon as he is ready to go.

We'll keep you guys updated on James' status.
