Former Laker Returns to NBA After Two-Year Hiatus

He's officially back in the league.

Former Los Angeles Lakers point guard Isaiah Thomas is offically back in the league, just two years from the last time we saw him on an NBA court. Thomas recently signed a 10-day contract with the Pacific Division rival, Phoenix Suns.

Thomas was a fan-favorite during his short time with the Lakers, spending the second half of the 2018 season with Los Angeles. He also re-joined them in 2021, earning a 10-day contract with the team.

He played just four games for the Lakers before the franchise decided not to renew his contract. Thomas averaged 9.2 points per game during the four games with the Lakers in 2021.

Thomas is a two-time All-Star in his career and he made the NBA All-Second Team in 2017 with the Boston Celtics. The league is more fun with Thomas back in it and we wish him all the best of luck with Phoenix.
