Your Los Angeles Lakers could be without two high-scoring starters for their rematch against the Chicago Bulls tonight at the United Center.

Per the league's latest injury report, All-Star small forward LeBron James has had his status downgraded to questionable ahead of this evening's action, after he made a surprise comeback on Sunday against the Bulls, where he chipped in a team-high 19 points off the bench in a 118-108 loss.

Starting LA point guard D'Angelo Russell, who had been considered questionable to suit up after missing the Lakers' last two games with a sore right hip, has seen his status upgraded to probable, in a bit of hopeful LA news. Starting Lakers center Anthony Davis is also listed as being probable to play as he continues to recuperate from his right foot stress injury.

Lakers two-way players Cole Swider and Scotty Pippen Jr., plus rookie shooting guard Max Christie, are all on assignment with the team's G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers. 3-and-D center Mo Bamba is also out still with his high left ankle sprain.

On the Bulls side of the injury equation, Lonzo Ball, the Lakers' former No. 2 overall draft pick out of UCLA in 2017, has not played since January 2022 due to a knee injury, and just underwent a season-ending third surgery to hopefully correct the ailment. He's expected to miss most of our perhaps all of the 2023-24 season as he recuperates. Another ex-Laker, Alex Caruso, is questionable tonight with left midfoot soreness. Forward Javonte Green is questionable as he recovers from his own lingering right knee surgery issues, while two-way Bull Justin Lewis is out for the year after undergoing a reconstructive ACL injury himself.

Basically, if the Bulls' medical staff offers to give you a knee surgery, maybe seek a second opinion?
