Los Angeles Lakers backup point guard Dennis Schröder, who missed LA's final two contests of the regular season with a sore neck and subsequently a sore right Achilles, is off the Lakers' latest injury report after putting up post-practice shots Monday, according to Broderick Turner of The Los Angeles Times.

Elsewhere on the injury report, LA's three top scorers -- All-Star small forward LeBron James, possible All-NBA center Anthony Davis, and starting point guard D'Angelo Russell -- are all considered probable to suit up through their various maladies. New additions Tristan Thompson and Shaquille Harrison are available to make their LA debuts.

Two-way Los Angeles players Scotty Pippen Jr. and Cole Swider did not have their contracts improved to standard deals to become postseason-eligible, so they will not be able to suit up for the Lakers throughout the playoffs.

Tonight's opposition for LA's play-in game, the Minnsota Timberwolves, frankly seems to be almost tanking this game when it comes to its lengthy injury sheet.

The biggest headline is that starting Minnesota center Rudy Gobert has been suspended by his own team for punching teammate Kyle Anderson in the shoulder during the club's season finale. Forwards Jaden McDaniels and Naz Reid are done for the year with a right hand fracture and left scaphoid fracture, respectively. McDaniels fractured his hand during the Wolves' final game Sunday, a 113-108 win against the New Orleans Pelicans, while punching a wall during a moment of frustration early in the proceedings.

Jaylen Nowell and, in a welcome surprise for Lakers fans, starting power forward Karl-Anthony Towns are both considered merely questionable.

Minnesota two-way players Luka Garza and former Lakers wing Matt Ryan were not upgraded to a standard deal, and thus are ineligible to play.
