Your Los Angeles Lakers could be getting some injury "luck" tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunders, who, beyond playing on the second night of a back-to-back pair of games (meaning LA will be better rested), could also be without their best player, by far, in All-Star point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

SGA is considered questionable tonight with an abdominal strain. Gilgeous-Alexander did play yesterday during the team's 127-105 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, scoring 30 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the floor and 9-of-9 shooting from the foul line. He also had three assists, four rebounds, three blocks and a steal.

Needless to say, the Thunder look a heck of a lot more beatable without their best scorer and overall best player. Oklahoma City big man Chet Holmgren, the 2022 No. 2 draft pick out of Gonzaga, has been out all season following a right foot surgery. Key big man Kenrich Williams is also sidelined tonight due to a scapholunate ligament surgery on his left wrist.

On the Lakers side, LA will be without LeBron James and Mo Bamba as usual, plus little-used two-way players Scotty Pippen Jr. and Cole Swider. Starting point guard D'Angelo Russell is questionable with a sore right hip, while starting center Anthony Davis is considered probable to play through his lingering right foot stress injury.
