The starting five lineups for both your Los Angeles Lakers and tonight's opposition, the pushover Houston Rockets, have been unveiled with the action set to tip off at 5 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast locally on Spectrum SportsNet.

Hot off a 35-point, 17-rebound performance in a 123-108 blowout win over the New Orleans Pelicans yesterday, Anthony Davis is being rested on the second night of back-to-back games, per the wishes of the Los Angeles medical staff.

LA head coach Darvin Ham is adjusting by starting Rui Hachimura at power forward and shifting 6'9" Jarred Vanderbilt up to center in place of Davis, per Mike Trudell of Lakers.com. Otherwise, the team's first five remains unchanged from yesterday: D'Angelo Russell will run the point, Malik Beasley will chuck threes as the starting shooting guard, Troy Brown Jr. will defend multiple positions and make the occasional jumper as LA's starting small forward (replacing the injured LeBron James).

For Houston, the team's official Twitter account reveals that head coach Stephen Silas will start point guard Kevin Porter Jr. and 2021 No. 2 draft pick Jalen Green in the Rockets' backcourt. Kenyon Martin Jr. will start at the three. Rookie power forward Jabari Smith Jr. and string-bean center Alperen Sengun will patrol the Rockets' timid frontcourt.
