Your Los Angeles Lakers' 104-101 victory last night against the Golden State Warriors had an unexpected hero in the fourth quarter: backup shooting guard Lonnie Walker IV, who chipped in all of his 15 points in the final frame, while shooting 6-for-9 from the field and 2-of-2 from the charity stripe.

A bunch of former Lakers Hall of Famers took to Twitter to praise the 6'4" wing, who'll be an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Former Showtime point guard Magic Johnson, a 12-time All-Star, five-time LA champ, and three-time league MVP, registered his excitement:

Los Angeles power forward/center Pau Gasol, a six-time All-Star and two-time champ with the Lakers, praised the role player, too:

Some of Walker's LA contemporaries also weighed in from Twitter, including starting power forward Jarred Vanderbilt, who offered up a very succinct post:

Walker's bench backcourt mate, backup point guard Dennis Schröder, also shouted out Game 4's surprise star:

A former Lakers adversary, Boston Celtics center-turned-ESPN pundit Kendrick Perkins, also celebrated Walker, mentioning his San Antonio Spurs tutelage:

Bestselling New York Times author-turned-TV showrunner Shea Serrano got in on the reaction action himself:
