Lakers Injury Report: Ailing LA Starter To Undergo Testing

Will this Laker miss time?

Your Los Angeles Lakers Lakers' 132-125 loss at the hands of the Utah Jazz marks yet another tough defeat on the ongoing 2023-24 NBA season. With the club sitting two games under .500 at 19-21, LA finds itself out of the play-in picture in the West right now, as the conference's No. 11 seed.

Amidst poor performances have been seemingly small, nagging injuries to an array of key pieces to the team, including D'Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura, Gabe Vincent, and now, Cam Reddish.

Reddish has had a couple different injuries, including those to the knee and face, causing him to be in and out of the lineup. He exited the team's loss against the Suns with a facial laceration.

Reddish departed LA's eventual 132-125 defeat against the Jazz Saturday with a sore left knee, per Khobi Price of The Orange County RegisterJovan Buha of The Athletic writes that Reddish is being evaluated by the Lakers' medical staff and that the team will have a "definitive" plan for him on Monday as it pertains to his injury recovery.

Here's hoping he can return to the team's lineup sooner rather than later. Hachimura and Russell did play through their ailments, with Russell enjoying a season-best individual performance, but Vincent isn't walking through those doors any time soon. LA can ill afford to lose any more rotation pieces.
