Lakers Injury Report: Gabe Vincent Status in Question for LA-OKC

Looks like the Lakers will be without Gabe Vincent once again.

The Los Angeles Lakers are set to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder today at 5 p.m. PST. The team is attempting to snap their losing streak since taking home the first-ever In-Season Tournament Championship.

Though there have been injuries to LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Rui Hachimura, they have all returned to the court in some fashion. That is not the case for Gabe Vincent, who continues to deal with an ailment.

Vincent is dealing with a left knee effusion, and has now been downgraded to "doubtful." This is concerning considering his status was probable earlier this week.

Vincent has only seen action in one game since his knee injury sidelined him in early November. Darvin Ham likes to take his time with bringing players back from their injuries, and Vincent's case is no different.

The issue is the Lakers are on a four-game losing skid, and they need all the help they can get right now. The season is still early, so it might be better to just allow Vincent's knee to fully heal.

With Vincent not being able to suit up, it could mean far more minutes for Max Christie, Austin Reaves, and Jalen Hood-Schiffino.
