Lakers Injury Report: LA All-Star Skips Practice With New Illness

His status for tomorrow's game is unknown.

Your 31-28 Los Angeles Lakers will look to get back on the winning side of things on Wednesday when they take on the 37-19 Los Angeles Clippers.

However, the status of their All-Star big man Anthony Davis may be in jeopardy. The Lakers announced, and The Athletic's Jovan Buha reported that Davis missed Tuesday's practice due to an upper respiratory illness.

This could mean something, or it could mean nothing.

Davis has been spectacular all season long. He's been available for most of the season and played like the all-timer the Lakers traded for.

The former 2012 No. 1 overall draft pick out of Kentucky is averaging 24.9 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.4 blocks in 55 games. His impact on both sides of the ball, especially on defense, will be severely missed if he misses Wednesday's crucial game.

Every game from here on out for the Lakers is do or die. Davis is much needed for the remainder of the season.
