Lakers Injury Report: Long-Hurt Role Player Practices With LA Ahead Of Clippers Game

Could he actually be back tomorrow?

Los Angeles Lakers small forward Cam Reddish, who at one point earlier in the 2023-24 season was actually a starter (in something of an ill-advised Darvin Ham decision), actually suited up for an LA team practice Tuesday in preparation for the club's impending Wednesday matchup against fellow Crypto.com Arena residents (for now) the LA Clippers.

But that doesn't mean the 6'8" wing is a shoo-in to return in the final regular season Battle of LA.

According to Jovan Buha of The Athletic, Ham expects to have more of a sense of whether or not the 24-year-old former 2018 lottery pick will be available to suit up by game day tomorrow.

Reddish actually hasn't played with the Lakers since the last time they faced off against the Clips, in a 127-116 defeat on January 23rd. In that matchup, he scored nine points on 3-of-5 shooting from the field (2-of-4 from deep) and 1-of-4 shooting from the foul line, along with blocking three shots, swiping one steal and dishing out one dime, across just 16 minutes of action.

In his first 35 games (26 starts) played during his first season with the Lake Show, Reddish is averaging 6.7 points on .405/.337/.783 shooting splits, 2.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.2 swipes a night.
