Your Los Angeles Lakers are up two games to one against the defending champion Golden State Warriors. LA played excellent team basketball in the two wins led by their superstar center Anthony Davis. Davis was brilliant in Games 1 and 3, and he was the opposite in Game 2.

When Davis is on, he's arguably one of the top players in the game, and the Lakers are a tough team to beat. His offense has been hit or miss this postseason, but his defense has been the difference for LA.

AD's defense has been otherworldly this postseason, so much so that he leads this postseason with the most stocks by a mile and then some.

"Stocks" is a combination of blocks and steals. No one has better than Davis at this during the ongoing postseason. His closest competitor is Boston Celtics big man Al Horford with 28 as of Saturday night.

Davis is averaging 21.2 points, 13.9 rebounds, and 4.1 blocks in nine games in these playoffs thus far. Davis had the lowest amount of blocks in Game 4 in the first round, "just" two, and he's only had three games with no steals.

Although the blocks and steals are registered, he does a lot more than that to affect the game. The 30-year-old vet has numerous sequences where he alters shots, deflects passes, and makes offensive players think about shooting over him.

There's no question AD has been the best defender these playoffs, and it's not even close. Defense wins championships, and he's certainly doing his part for LA this postseason.
