Lakers News: Austin Reaves Has Hilarious Joke Regarding Anthony Davis Following Dominant Performance

Maybe it's the hair?

The Los Angeles Lakers grabbed a much-needed win to get above .500 and, more importantly moved to 2-0 in the In-Season Tournament. And they did it with ease. LA took care of business against the Memphis Grizzlies at home with a 134-107 victory, their largest margin of victory this season.

It was great to see LA get the win without having it come down to the wire. A big part of that had to do with their superstar center, Anthony Davis. Davis had himself a monster game; in only 27 minutes, he dropped 19 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and six blocks. Davis was everywhere on Tuesday night, looking like a top 10 player and a top candidate for the Defensive Player of the Year award.

He was fantastic, but was it because of his hairstyle? Lakers guard Austin Reaves certainly thinks so, as he told Lakers insider for ESPN Dave McMenamin.

Reaves may be onto something. In these past two games, 'Fro Davis' has made an appearance, he's totaled 49 points, 24 rebounds, 11 assists, and nine blocks. Not only are his numbers great, but he's being aggressive on both sides of the ball.

He's looking like the AD that led the team to championship No. 17, and that is the Davis we'll need from here on out for the Lakers to compete for a title. It's essential for Davis to play like the superstar he is on a night-in, night-out bias.

If the hair has anything to do with it, then I second Reaves' statement. Even if he does change his hairstyle, we want to see 'Fro Davis' type performances.
