Lakers News: D'Angelo Russell Likes Tweet About D'Angelo Russell Trade

D-Lo gives his thoughts on potentially being traded.

Los Angeles Lakers point guard D'Angelo Russell is telling us how he really feels about the latest trade rumors surrounding him.

Russell recently liked a post made by former NBA player Evan Turner on Twitter/X regarding how LA would regret trading him away.

D-Lo liked this tweet, and it remains in his likes.

Russell has been in the trade talks all his career, especially as a Laker. It seems like his job is never safe, and he's always looked at as a trade piece wherever he's landed.

He's been a part of four teams in eight years, and he's moved on from all those teams via trade. The Lakers traded him to the Brooklyn Nets after his second year in the league. After two seasons in Brooklyn, he was involved in a sign and trade with the Golden State Warriors. Later that season, in his first as a Warrior, the team traded him to the Timberwolves prior to the trade deadline.

He spent three seasons there before being traded back to Los Angeles in last year's trade that surrounded him and Russell Westbrook.

It's been a never-ending cycle for D-Lo, and I'm sure he's tired of it. Everywhere he's gone, he's done nothing but be a professional and has balled out regardless.

Russell is currently playing a great stretch of basketball and is putting all the pressure on the front office to make the move if they deem it necessary. He hasn't been as consistent as we'd hoped. But if he can keep up his play from the past three games, averaging 27.3 points, then maybe, just maybe, he could stick around past February 8th.
