Lakers News: How To Watch LA-Sacramento Matchup Tonight

It's a battle of playoff positioning!

Your Los Angeles Lakers will host the Sacramento Kings tonight, in a battle of Pacific Division play-in hopefuls.

The action tips off at 7:30 p.m. PT, and will be broadcast locally on Spectrum SportsNet (and Spectrum SportsNet+ for us cord-cutters), as well as NBC Sports Bay Area & California for Kings fans. To listen on the radio, tune in to SiriusXM and ESPN LA 710/1330 KWKW AM.

At 34-29, the ninth-seeded Lakers sit just 1.5 games behind the seventh-seeded Kings (34-26). A victory tonight would go a long way towards leveling the playing field as the postseason looms. In their two prior matchups thus far this season, the Lakers have yet to take a game off the Kings, a 132-127 overtime loss in October and a 125-110 defeat in November.

Los Angeles will be struggling through its typical rash of long-term bench injuries (forward Jarred Vanderbilt, point guard Gabe Vincent, and power forward/center Christian Wood remain out), but its starting lineup as of now seems like it should be relatively intact. Point guard D'Angelo Russell, shooting guard Austin Reaves, All-Star small forward LeBron James, power forward Rui Hachimura and center Anthony Davis are 9-2 in their contests starting together. Here's hoping this group can power the Lakers to a key win.
