Lakers News: Jeanie Buss, In-Season Tournament Medal Touring LA Today
Los Angeles Lakers team owner Jeanie Buss has revealed on her personal Instagram that she's going to be making the rounds today in several stops around Southern California, in a coordinated promotion for her tequila label, Cincoro Liquor.
Starting right now and for the next hour, she'll be visiting Total Wine & More at 1505 Hawthorne Boulevard on Redondo Beach.
From 1:30-2:30 p.m. PT (in a slightly optimistic driving prediction, per my estimation at least), she'll be hopping up to Culver City's Total Wine & More location, at 11441 Jefferson Boulevard.
From 3:30-4:30 pm, Buss will be visiting Mission Wine & Spirits in Sherman Oaks, at 13654 Burbank Blvd.
As a hook, Buss will be touring these liquor locales with the Lakers' In-Season Tournament Medal, which Buss praises as being "gorgeous" in her post.
One wonders if, at least privately, the Lakers might regret going all-in on their In-Season Tournament bid. The team was clearly pretty invested in winning, and they seem to be dealing with the consequences of that push now. LA has lost five of its last six games, including four in a row, and faces the Western Conference's No. 2 seed, the Oklahoma City Thunder, on the road tomorrow, as it hopes to avoid the ignominy of a fifth consecutive defeat.
