Lakers News: LeBron James Posts Cryptic Tweet After Kyrie Irving Traded to Dallas

We were all waiting for it.

The entire basketball world was waiting for LeBron James' thoughts on his former teammate, Kyrie Irving, being traded to the Dallas Mavericks. James was very much advocating for the Lakers to add Irving before the Feb. 9 trade deadline, both through cryptic tweets and more blunt responses.

However, on Sunday, the Mavericks swooped in and made the deal, leaving James and the Lakers still scrambling for answers with just four days left before the deadline.

It took LeBron a few hours, but finally, he took to Twitter to speak his mind. And he did so in the most cryptic way possible, with just three words:

"Maybe It's Me"

It doesn't take a genius to figure out what James is talking about here. Clearly, he sees his team not making the win-now moves that could put his team into contention for another NBA Finals appearance.

As of Sunday — after a very disappointing loss to the New Orleans Pelicans — the Lakers sit at 25-29 as the No. 13 seed in the West. They're starting to get healthier, but are clearly still a move or two away from true contention.

Irving would've been that guy, but now the Lakers have four days to move to Plan B. For LeBron's sake, I really hope they do something.
