Lakers News: Reporters Sick Of Kyrie Irving As Guard Tries To Recruit LeBron James

It's the talk of the NBA town

The NBA off-season hasn't officially begun for all teams, but it isn't lacking any storylines, especially on the Laker side of things. Like it or not, the Lakers are always the talk of the town in the NBA landscape; add LeBron James to the mix, and it can be insufferable.

Nonetheless, the Lakers are in the news, and it has to do with James and his former championship teammate, Kyrie Irving. Irving was the one who made heads turn as NBA insider Shams Charania reported that Kyrie reached out to James to join him in Dallas to form a big three with himself, James, and superstar Luka Doncic.

The news has been in the weekly headlines, but ex-NBA player and analyst Tim Legler is already tired of the Irving-James link-up talks.

"It never ends with him [Kyrie]. I am so sick of talking about who he might play with, where he might go. Look at what happened to the Dallas Mavericks after they acquired him. Where does it end with him, where's he's just constantly trying to figure out a way to play with who he wants to play with to try and make something positive."

LeBron joining Kyrie in dallas is highly unlikely, but Irving coming to Los Angeles isn't out of the question. We all know how the combination of Irving and James has played out, and those two are a problem together.

However, whether they are in Dallas or LA, it may be doubtful that they will team up. A lot can happen from now to the start of training camp, so we'll be keeping a close out on how this plays out for both sides.
