Lakers News: Watch Russell Westbrook Blow LA's Minds Wearing Just One Shoe

The man is wild for this.

Ex-Los Angeles Lakers reserve point guard Russell Westbrook blew the minds of his former teammates tonight early in the second quarter of his LA Clippers' ongoing matchup against their SoCal rivals.

It was a moment to remember, during a first half the Lakers will surely strive to forget.

When Westbrook's high-top right sneaker slipped off, rather than foul somebody and burn a break to reacquire the shoe, he instead dribbled up the floor and nailed a triple over the head of Lakers forward Jarred Vanderbilt, giving him a wide berth at the top of the arc.

He nailed it, to the shock of all his old teammates.

As of this writing, the Clippers currently lead the Lakers 53-44 with 7:11 remaining in the first half. It's not a terrible margin, given that LeBron James is sitting with that lingering left ankle personal tendinopathy. Still, the Lakers seem a bit listless, aside from starting point guard D'Angelo Russell (who's been on quite the heater for the last three three weeks) and All-Star center Anthony Davis.

With that triple, Westbrook now has 13 points off the bench for Los Angeles, having scored eight points on 3-of-5 shooting from the floor and 1-of-1 shooting from the foul line, four assists, four rebounds and one steal.
