During last night's 125-118 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, your Los Angeles Lakers seemed caught off-guard for a bit when the Clips looked to frequently trap Lakers star Anthony Davis in double-teams.

But LeBron James, for one, seemed to take the tactic in stride.

James scored 33 points (30 in the second half) while shooting 13-of-20 from the field (4-of-6 from deep) and 3-of-5 from the charity stripe. He pulled down eight rebounds, dished out seven dimes (albeit against six turnovers), and notched a steal and a block.

After the game, it was revealed that James' former Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue, now coaching the Clippers, had suggested he did not intend to defend Davis that way. James had some immediate words.

"Y’all believed that?" James joked.

"We've got to be in the right spots at the right time" when opponents double Davis, he added. "We've got to put guys in position to be successful. We should go into every game with the mindset that teams are going to double AD, because of how great a player he is."

The Lakers will next have a chance to Davis coverages tomorrow, when they try to fend off another Western Conference team looking to make some postseason noise, the better Phoenix Suns.
