All-NBA Los Angeles Lakers small forward LeBron James is trying his darnedest to carve out a bit of history in LA's ongoing Western Conference Finals series against the top-seeded Denver Nuggets.

When asked if he was hoping to be the first team in 150 tries to rally all the way back from a 3-0 series deficit, James responded in the resounding affirmative, per ESPN:

"Of course. That's the only mindset for me, for sure," James said.

James elaborated, explaining that he's try to approach the series with a game-by-game ethos, per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

"Just got to get one," James continued, per . "Just one at a time. Just focus on Game 4, and you know, that's all you can really think about."

During the defeat, James scored 23 points in the contest, but notched that on an inefficient 8-of-19 shooting from the floor. He missed a whopping (and incredibly uncharacteristic) 4-of-6 field goals in the team's must-win fourth quarter.

Game 4 tips off at 5:30 p.m. PT Monday. If James has his way, we'll be seeing plenty more Lakers games through the rest of the week.
