Lakers News: LeBron James Visualizing Fifth Title Ahead Of Year 21

Only greatness for James this season.

With your Los Angeles Lakers' 2023-24 season set to tip off Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets, it seems that the only thing that matters is winning another championship. It's been the mindset of this organization each season since the beginning, and this year is no different.

The team prioritized continuity this offseason, instead of their usual star-chasing. It was a breath of fresh air for this organization, and now they enter into the year with a great chance to be one of the better teams in the NBA.

Star LeBron James spoke about his mindset entering the year, and how it all revolves around winning his fifth career championship.

"It's just my motivation to continue to be as great as I can be and solidify what I want to do in my career and still seeing that Larry O'Brien trophy in my mind on a daily basis," James said. "That's one of the best four moments of my career, being able to hoist up that trophy. [That's] motivation alone... But also wanting to be legendary in this game and let my game speak for itself long after I've played. But this team has motivated me as well."

The only on the mind of James as the season gets going is how he can help lead the Lakers to another title. At this point in his career, it is the only thing that matters, and if he can get another championship on his resume, it would be massive for his legacy.

The Lakers do have a good chance of winning it all this season after the strong offseason that they put together. They believe that they have some unfinished business to attend to, and they feel confident in themselves to get the job done.

Health will be the biggest factor for the Lakers this season, and if they can remain on the court, their chances increase heavily. They showed what they could do last season with a healthy James and Anthony Davis, and there is hope of them duplicating and exceeding that this year.
