Your Los Angeles Lakers and tonight's opposition, the New York Knicks, have just announced their starters for this evening's matchup.

For the second straight game, LA has announced via Twitter that it will start D'Angelo Russell at point guard, Malik Beasley at shooting guard, Troy Brown Jr. at small forward, Jarred Vanderbilt at power forward, and Anthony Davis at center.

On the Knicks side of the equation, Kyle Goon of The Orange County Register reports that New York will once again start Quentin Grimes in the stead of Jalen Brunson running the point, Immanuel Quickley at shooting guard, RJ Barrett at small forward, Julius Randle at power forward, and rim-roller Mitchell Robinson at center.

Both teams are bringing streaks to the table this evening. Los Angeles has won its last three in a row (all at home), while New York has lost its last three straight. This is the end of a five-game Crypto.com Arena residency for the Lakers, and the Knicks are without probably their most important player in the injured Brunson, so this represents something of a golden opportunity for LA to steal a victory and improve to a 34-34 record on the season.

The action tips off at 6 p.m. on ESPN tonight (ABC is booked up with the Academy Awards broadcast).
