Let's just get this out of the way: Golden State Warriors reserve guard Jordan Poole was a huge difference-maker during the Dub's 2022 run to the NBA crown.

His ability to create off the dribble and fire at a high volume made him a perfect compliment to his incumbent Splash Brothers Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

But something's changed since Warriors power forward Draymond Green punched him in the face during the team's 2022-23 preseason training camp. And it came sputtering to the surface during Golden State's six-game semifinals series loss to your Los Angeles Lakers.

Per ESPN, Poole submitted more fouls (14) than field goals (13) across the final five contests of the series, which the Warriors lost on Friday.

He had enjoyed a solid start to the series, scoring 21 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the floor (6-of-11 from deep) in the Warriors' 117-112 Game 1 loss to LA in San Francisco. But things fell apart from there. He averaged just 5.8 points a game on .302/.059/.667 shooting splits, across a scant 18.8 minutes. He's not a defender, so when he's such a net negative on offense, too, he provides little value to the champs.
