Nike is unveiling its next signature LeBron James sneakers this season, and they boast a unique retro feeling.

The iconic Beaverton, Ohio sportswear brand's fresh LeBrons, the NXXT Gen “1984” shoes, commemorate The Chosen One's birth year, and their design clearly harkens back to that era aesthetically.

Per Shatakshi Gupta of Sportskeeda, the new kicks arrive in a very 1980s-core color palette, boasting wolf grey, pink spell, hyper royal, blue lightning, photon dust, and black.

Officially being called "Wolf Grey," the LeBron NXXT Gen low tops are reportedly going to be arriving to stores one week from today, March 16th. The sneakers are set to retail for $160 in physical and online shops, Gupta reports.

James himself may not be able to actually wear said Nikes any time soon, given that he is still dealing with a right foot tendon injury that will see him shelved through at least the next two weeks. LA's medical staff will then evaluate him to determine how much he has recuperated, and if he is fit to rejoin the club at that point. Given that there are only five weeks left in the team's season as of this writing, James will frankly be running out of time if the ailment lingers too far beyond that examination window.
