During a postgame presser, All-Star Los Angeles Lakers small forward LeBron James seemed to be taking a more cumulative view of his team's chances going forward in its ongoing series against the Golden State Warriors, despite LA falling flat on its face in a 127-100 Game 2 blowout so complete he didn't play a second of fourth quarter action.

“They made the adjustments, and we knew they were going to do that. That's what a championship team does. They held serve on their home court tonight," James allowed. "We’re still the best defensive team in the league if not one of them. That's what we hang our hats on."

"You give credit where credit is due," James acknowledged. "Klay [Thompson] was spectacular tonight. Draymond [Green] was great in the pocket passes with the rolls and things of that nature. JaMychal [Green] gave them big-time minutes... We move on to the next game, but our defense is where we hang our hat."

In just 31:13, Thompson scored 30 points on 11-of-18 shooting from the field (8-of-11 from long range), notched three boards and dished out one assist. Draymond Green was one assist shy of a triple-double, notching 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the floor, 11 rebounds and nine dimes. JaMychal Green scored 15 points in 12:32, while starting in the stead of a sick Kevon Looney, who played on a minutes restriction off the bench.
