Magic Coach Jamahl Mosley Offers Solution to Offensive Woes

The Orlando Magic has been effective on the defensive side of the ball so far this season, but to keep consistently winning games, the team has to be consistent on offense as well.

The Orlando Magic has surprised a lot of people so far this season its strong play. But as of late, the team has slowed down a bit, especially on offense.

The Magic posted its lowest point total in a game so far this season in its last game against the Philadelphia 76ers with 92 points. The team ended up losing the game by 20 points, despite the Sixers being without reigning MVP Joel Embiid. Coach Jamahl Mosley talked a bit about what the team has to do in his postgame interview.

"Being able to hang your hat on the defensive end - we say it all the time," Mosley said. "And that's going to be our calling card. You have to recognize that shots aren't gonna fall, but then you can't beat yourself by turning the ball over, and then we talk about detailing our work. And tonight, we didn't do that."

This past game against the 76ers marked just the third time so far this season that the Magic has scored under 100 points, as the team's offense has been effective so far this year. These offensive struggles don't seem to be anything for the team to worry about in the long run, but they could quickly become a problem if the Magic continues to make them a habit.

The Magic will be looking to shake these struggles shooting the ball when the team is back in action tomorrow against Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET from the Kia Center.
