Magic 'Fun to Watch' in Win vs. Nets, Says Coach Jamahl Mosley

The Orlando Magic broke its two-game losing streak with a win against the Brooklyn Nets, and the team's defense was the key.

The Orlando Magic was able to bounce back from two straight losses and get the win on Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets.

The team was able to get in done one both sides of the court in the win, playing solid team defense and sharing the ball very well. Head coach Jamahl Mosley talked about what he thought about how the Magic played in his postgame interview.

“I liked our defensive energy. Being able to pick up full court and then the way in which we shared the basketball. I think that was fun to watch. The way in which we were moving it, sharing it, guys stepping into their shots with confidence – I think that’s the way in which we need to continue to play.”

The Magic made twice the three-pointer that the Nets did and held them to 26 percent shooting from beyond the arc. The Magic also tallied up six steals and six blocks over the course of the game, as the team's defense played a big role.

That combined with the team's 29 assists on the game got the Magic the win. If it can keep up the great team play until the end of the year, then the Magic could be in prime position to make a lot of noise in the playoffs.

The Magic will be back in action on Friday on the road against the Toronto Raptors. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET from Scotiabank Arena.
